The Syndicat des Pharmaciens Luxembourgeois brings together pharmacists who own a private pharmacy or hold a state concession and represents their rights.

The SPL advocates for the interests of the profession and represents its members before national and international authorities. It is the key contact for the Ministry of Health and Social Security, particularly for the development of the annual on-call duty plan.

A member of Luxembourg Confederation since 2010, the SPL is mandated to study, in collaboration with public authorities, general pharmaceutical measures and to promote the advisory role of the pharmacist as a key contact and expert in medication. The SPL oversees continuous professional training and participates in the work of the Groupement Pharmaceutique de l’Union Européenne (GPUE).
